- pottery painting for birthday parties, organizations, schools and
groups of friends throughout Yorkshire.
Arty
Smarty paint your own pottery is a simple and fun activity for all
ages and abilities. You can create and paint your own mugs, plates,
bowls etc. with your own personal designs and messages, using our
stencils, sponges or your children’s hands and foot prints. We
then take the pieces away
for glazing and firing, returning them to you about a week later. You
will be able to eat and drink from your pots everyday, or display
your child’s handprints on pottery as a permanent memento.
We
will bring our pottery and all the equipment needed to your home or
venue then explain and organize the pottery painting for about an
hour. We can tailor sessions for either children or adult audiences
of any age or ability!
All
you need to do is provide a table, some chairs, water and gather a
few "painters" together.
Most
of our pottery pieces cost between £5.95 - £7.95 + £3
per piece for the paints, glazing and firing. Our minimum fee for
Arty Smarty to come to you would be £60, that's 6-7 pieces
including the cost of glazing. In 2006 Arty Smarty will be taking
bookings for this "We Come 2U" service which will replace
the "Village Hall sessions"
As
part of our new service we will continue to help to put your child's
hand and footprints on plates for that lasting memory and a very
personal gift.
